Safer and more overtaking opportunities

As a consequence of the edition 2018, when rain influenced the races in Albstadt and caused too much crashes, the Bullentäle course upon consultation with UCI got some corrections. They do not concern the spectator friendly layout of the lap but helping to make it safer and in sense of overtaking opportunities more fair.

After a track walk with German national coaches and discussions with UCI the organisation took action. The most important point is to avoid what happened in 2018 and make the course rideable in all weather conditions. Regarding the world championships in 2020 that means for all categories.

Second aspect was to create a better flow and to add some passages to overtake.

Due to weather conditions in spring with snow it was not possible to start the work on the course earlier.

Also some spectator tracks were added and maybe that caused some misunderstandings about the course.

But for the world cup itself the course will be ready and for sure safer than the year before.
